Console Safe Late Production 2012 - 2014 Ford F150 with Full Floor Console also fits Raptor Platinum Model LD2026X

The LD2026X Model console safe from Lock’er Down is designed to fit the 2012 to 2014 Ford Full Floor console as well as the Ford Raptor and the Ford Platinum models. This design fits the late production Ford F150 console that the LD2026 console safe does not fit. This model has a USB chord extension that allows the use of the USB port inside the console to be accessed outside of the safe. Note: Some 2012 models may have a protrusion to the left of the power outlet. This requires this models alternative LD2026X model to fit.
Each of our safes includes a multitude of lock options. Those options are as follows but may vary with safe type:
  • 4 Digit Manual Tumbler Combination Lock
  • 7-Sided Tubular Key
  • Abloy Lock with 2 Keys
  • Abloy Lock with 3 Keys
  • Metal Encased Electronic Lock

After having a "Console Vault" in my other Raptor (sold), I didn't think you could get much better. This vault from Lock-R-Down is a better product than the original Console Vault. The fit is way better and was not hard at all to get in place like the Console vault was. This one is thicker and appears to be better quality. It was boxed and packaged with great care and arrived in perfect condition. I would highly recommend the Lock-R-Down version over the original Console Vault. Not to mention but Bobby was a pleasure to deal with and answered all my questions like he knew what he was talking about. Called him back after the sale to ask a question and he even offered to send me one of the new 3/8" pads to cover the bottom of my safe. Great customer service! Thanks Bobby!

With the safe being made of 12 gauge steel, and having a plate on both sides of the console, it would take hours for someone to break in. I personally like the 4 digit combo lock. This is the only vault I found with a USB connector on the top given that the 2013 f150's put their USB connections in the console.

My safe arrived in perfect condition 3 days after it was ordered. Packaging was excellent. Easy to install and fits great! A word to the wise - follow the directions about changing the lock code EXACTLY. Change one number and test bfore you change another one!

I just installed the Console Safe Model.LD2026X in my 2013 Ford Raptor. The installation was fast and easy after watching the video on YouTube. I spent more time getting it out of the box it was shipped in than time for installing. The 4, number lock combination was easy to set and is easy to open. This safe is quality construction and I recommend this for all center console vehicles. I hope they
make one to fit my Jeep Wrangler.

Outstanding - Love it. I show it to all my friends and family and give them your web site.

Idea for you to recommend - I took the packing material you sent and actually made a false floor in the bottom of the vault that fits a second pistol perfectly. If anyone does someho manage to break in they can take my camera - or 1 pistol in the vault, but would never stop to think there is a 1.5" false floor at the bottom!

Great Job! I need to see a lockig vault for the F150 - 2013 with sub-woofer - but cannot seem to find one?

Got the product. Overall great design. Had some fitment issues with the front plate and the rear bar that required a mechanics touch to get sorted. Not sure if it was a design issue, manufacturing issue, or a issue with my 2013 F-150 platinum. Once I got it in, it functions great, looks great. I recommend that you provide better instructions regarding the front plate. I recommend it being installed prior to the side plates being put it, so you can get it over the A?V cable box easier. Also recommend machining out a hole in the back of the unit to allow the LED lighting to light up the interior.

High quality product. Delivered on time. Fit was perfect. Can still access and use the USB and 12v plugs on interior of safe. The USB extension on top of safe is great. I used some electrical tape to route the USB cord for my iPod from the extension, around the top edges of the safe, to the MP3 holder Ford supplies in the console lid. The iPod stays permanently connected to the SYNC system and doesn't interfere w/safe. Would have rated 5 stars, but there was a small issue with supplied hardware. Instructions refer to 4 - 8/32 nuts for the posts that secure bottom brace. My hardware package contained 4 tech screws instead of the nuts. ?? Tech screws are not needed for this product. Cost me a an unnecessary run to the hardware store for $1.32 worth of nuts.

Just installed my safe yesterday and it's exactly what I wanted for my truck. Heavy duty and secure, I will worry much less about leaving valuables in my truck when I have no other choice.

It's also worth noting that I've had a few questions for Bobby and his replies have been prompt and helpful.

I really like this console safe, I feel very safe leaving my valuables in it. It is well made and very clean looking.
If I had anything negative to say about it, it would be that it is not a fully enclosed box, and is not bolted down to the floor. But that being said, I think the people at Lock'er down did a great job with the type of console that is in my truck (2014 F150).
The installation was easy and nice and tight. The video was helpful except for the 3" piece for the forward portion. mine didn't just fit in, I had to slide mine in from left to right on an angle(lower side FWD) to get it in. Once in it fit nice and tight.
All in all, a great looking product that gives me piece of mind. I Would definitely buy again.

Received & installed last night, fits like a glove, watched the install video & installed in 10 min. very pleased with this purchase, now to steal my gun they'll have to take the whole truck. I couple if items I suggest are changed. the back piece covers the console light. should not be a big problem & I may remove to try & correct. I ask before purchasing if the small storage tray that sits at the top of the console would fit & was told it would. It will not but I'll find another way to store all those little things. Over all safe was well packaged arrived is less then 3 days & install is easy. Great product...

I contacted the owner, Bob, and he was VERY helpful in getting to the correct page, answering a few questions as to which safe would be best for my F150, and then with ordering. Have been wanting a secure place to lock and temporarily store my carry pistol when I have to leave it in the truck - e.g., going into the bank here in FLA, etc. Bought the floor console with 4 digit lock for my F-150. Liked the videos. Had to slightly bend L bracket - only took a second or two. That and the lack of clearance to get at the center front stud/nut to tighten were the only slight installation frustration points. I do think there is a market for someone to customize a prettier cut-away top tray - but i was able to use a handy dandy pocket knife and make my two holes/cuts for the lock and for the USB cord. All said and done this looks like it will fit the bill for me. Not knowing whether or not it will stay secure from a serious break in as well as that front stud access issue kept me from the 5th star - but would have given 4.75 any day of the week. American made. Solid. Packed and shipped well. Priced right. Thank you for a nice product.

Perfect fit. Would be nice if they sold a modified drop in tray. The factory change tray did not fit once the safe was installed. I used a dremel tool to cut out a slot for the key lock in the safe so that when the tray was in place that the console armrest would still close.

This locker fits the console perfectly, and was easy to install. You lose the use of the sliding coin tray inside the console because it will not fit when the locker is installed. That being said, I'd rather lose the use of the coin tray than my pistol ;-)

Safe went in easy, watched YouTube video on how to install which improved the install instructions. Only complaint is with the abloy key being 2.5 inches which is 1 inch too long.
