I am very happy with the safe. Very easy to install and very solid. Just what I wanted and just as advertised. Would buy again.
One little issue. After installation, the top of my console is a little harder to close. I have to give it a little nudge to completely close the top of the console to my 2017 Tacoma. It seems as if the top of the console is hitting or rubbing against something. Not sure exactly where but it doesn't bother me much.

It fits perfectly making it nice and snug, but there are two issues, both of which are minor.
The pre-cut holes that match up with the vehicle were very close, but slightly off. They were about 1/8" off which made bolting the safe down difficult. Both bolts have to sit at an angle. Not a real problem because it still works, but made installation take a little longer (installation was still quick).
The safe is just a bit tall. I am able to close the console but it doesn't close like it did before and I have to slam it shut. I'm sure it's the plastic rubbing on a metal part of the safe and it'll eventually wear down but it is slightly annoying and doesn't feel 100% shut.
Other than that, its perfect. It fits well in the console and it is clear that there was engineering and testing that went into this safe as it has a cutout for the cigarette plug. The safe is VERY sturdy and once bolted, will NOT budge. Will definitely purchase from Lock'er Down again for my next vehicle safe.

Received my console safe via Fed Ex on a Saturday. I took the safe out of the box and installed in 15 minutes without any issues. The console safe gives me piece of mind when my valuables are locked up when I am out running on the local trails.

Nice construction on the console safe, easy installation, but did not come as pictured with the manufactors product plate attached . Console lid doesn't latch completely, unit sits approximately 1/16" high.

Got the console safe on 7/20, ordered it late 7/18 evening. It took me longer to go through my tool box looking for the right socket than it did to install the safe in my truck. I like the fit and look of the safe. I do recommend this console safe.

I bought the LD2047 with the Abloy key option for my 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro. Some of the reviews here state that the center console lid doesn’t close correctly after install but this is absolutely not the case with mine. It fits perfectly and functions perfectly. I’m very impressed with the quality, and the price reflects that quality. I will definitely buy from Lock’er Down again if I require something else. They called me to confirm my order and were extremely friendly. I suspect if I ever needed anything they would help solve any issue that arises. Thank you for this awesome product!

The safe took much longer than expected to be delivered and I was not notified that the chrome lock was the holdup until over a month after. I called, emailed, but did NOT receive an update other than a voicemail stating "This is XXXX calling to discuss your order", but did not get anything more than that. In the end, I was contacted and asked if I would care if my lock was in black and I said I could care less. 2 weeks later (a month and 2 weeks at least) I did receive the safe and am satisfied but did have to make a modification to the latch to get my console to shut over the safe in my Tacoma 2021. They did give me a free gun magnet, so all is forgiven. I would recommend this product
