The LD2028CD Model console safe from Lock’er Down is designed to fit the 2013 to 2018 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 with full floor consoles, and the 2019 1500 Classic with full floor consoles. Note: This model is designed to fit the center consoles with CD players in them.
Each of our safes includes a multitude of lock options. Those options are as follows but may vary with safe type:
  • 4 Digit Manual Tumbler Combination Lock
  • 7-Sided Tubular Key
  • Abloy Lock with 2 Keys
  • Abloy Lock with 3 Keys
  • Metal Encased Electronic Lock

As well, each of our safes comes with two lid options, standard and EXxtreme, where the EXxtreme provides an extra amount of security to your safe by eliminating pry points. For questions regarding these options, feel free to contact our staff for more details.

2016 RAM 3500 w/cd player. Fits nicely, easy install. This is more of a deterrent. The door and lock are solid, however I suspect the self tapping screws into the plastic console will only provide some resistance to getting lifted out. Still a nice product that provides good security for the cost, but know it's limitations.

I bought this and the SUVault. Lock'er Down automatically keyed them same. Very happy customer.

Excellent fit-up, close tolerances, took 10 min. to install (5 min. to clean out space). Very happy with it, not just for Gun Storage, but all valuables, when going to Gym, Ballgame, etc. .I highly recommend a safe to everyone! Thanks for making this Product.

I'm happy with the fit and finish of the safe. I would like the screws to be a little more robust, but I'm sure it would do its job and slow someone down enough that they'd look elsewhere. Great customer service and military /police /fire friendly. Thanks!

I purchased both the Console safe and the Rear Vault safe for my Ram 1500. Both products are high quality and pretty easy to install. I would recommend hand tightening the 3 screws that come with the Console unit. The console safe is much smaller, less room because I have a CD player. I was able to fit my Pistol and 4 mags but not much room for anything else. The Vault in the rear has much more room for storage. Easily get 2-3 pistols, 3 boxes of ammo and a few other smaller items. Just not as accessible as the Console. I would recommend buying some spray rubber coating to put on the Vault base of this unit to prevent water and rusting since it actually sits under your vehicle outside. The owner Bobby Newell was extremely helpful when I called him 3 times. He even answered his phone on a Sunday to answer my question. Excellent customer service.

Had one in my F250 and loved it. So when I traded the ford and got the new Ram 2500 I had to have another one. Love the sense of security with this safe. Also locker down are great to deal with. When I purchased the new safe I contacted Bob and he had me send him the lid from old safe since I had the extra $100.00 Lock in it and removed it and placed it in the new safe. Great guy to deal with.
