The LD2048 EXxtreme Model console safe from Lock’er Down is designed to fit the 2010 to 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Specifically for the Electronic lock option on this console safe, there is a removable tissue holder that must be removed in order to use this lock option.

After a couple of calls to discuss the different lock options, I decided to go with the EXxtreme safe and electronic lock. Great choice. The heavy duty plate covers up the lid gaps, adding an extra thick layer of security. I like that I can leave the lock partway latched between open and locked, so the contents are easily accessible without entering your code, or a quick turn and totally secured. But what floored me was the fit. Drop right in, two bolts and done perfect fit. It looks like it came from Toyota that way. I had to remove the kleenex box holder to fit the electronic lock, but an email to, and response received on a weekend gave me the info I needed to install it. Great customer service.

I’m so happy with my Exxtreme Console Safe with the electronic lock. I have s 2017 Toyota TRD PRO 4 Runner and it’s a perfect fit. The customer service is amazing. I was surprised to find it arrived the very next morning. Install was easy and it looks great. Now I can lock my gun when I encounter those pesky 30.06 signs.

Hoping not to do a review this soon. Meaning Had the safe 2 weeks and last night car prowler went into my 2018 4runner and yes he tried to get in with what look like a flat head screw driver. Crappy part safe is impervious but plastic console is thrashed. Lockerdown now needs to make an exterior console saver. Have Pictures of Pry attempt but no way to upload. I highly recommend this safe if you carry a firearm in your car and don't want to panic if you leave it in your car unattended.
